Dr. Dogan Tirtiroglu
Chair, Real Estate Management | Professor
Dr. Dogan Tirtiroglu is a Professor in the Real Estate Management Department at Toronto Metropolitan University and has chaired the department since September 2019. He earned his PhD in Finance with a Real Estate focus from the University of Connecticut.
His research covers real estate, including REITs and house price indices, as well as banking and corporate finance. He has published in leading journals across real estate, finance, housing, and regional science. He has also taught finance and real estate courses at undergraduate, MBA, MSc, MPhil, MComm, and PhD levels.
